Tallgrass Institute presents Investor Briefing on Indigenous Peoples’ Priorities for COP30 on Tuesday, October 28, 12:00-1:00 pm ET.

A record number of Indigenous Peoples are anticipated to attend the 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) from November 10 to 21. Taking place in Belém, Brazil, it is the first time the conference will be held in the Amazon – one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world and ancestral home to many Indigenous communities. Given the interconnectedness of Indigenous Peoples and nature, Indigenous representatives from around the globe will bring their expertise to COP30 discussions about carbon markets, a just energy transition, biodiversity, human rights, finance, and more. 

For investors, COP30 signifies how Indigenous Peoples’ leadership is a cornerstone of effective climate change solutions and investment practices.
