Tallgrass Institute nurtures enduring alliances and partnerships between Indigenous Peoples and investors to ensure respect for Indigenous Peoples’ rights, including their right to free, prior and informed consent (FPIC). We ensure Indigenous leaders participation wherever possible to provide direct expertise and data on issues and maximize transmission of their priorities and solutions.

Tallgrass Institute serves as Secretariat for the Investors & Indigenous Peoples Working Group (IIPWG) and is a founding member of the Securing Indigenous Peoples’ Rights in the Green Economy (SIRGE) Coalition.
