Tallgrass Institute’s Kate R. Finn appeared on Just Investing, Universal Church Fund’s podcast that examines responsible investing and how investors are responding to developments in the field. She discussed operationalizing FPIC as a priority for investor due diligence and corporate accountability, banks’ pivotal role towards protecting Indigenous Peoples’ rights across industries, and the critical need to respect Indigenous Peoples’ self-determination and participation in carbon credits and other nature-based schemes, in addition to introducing the work of Tallgrass Institute and the Investors & Indigenous Peoples Working Group (IIPWG), of which UCF is a participant.
